Question

Question Posted 12/13/13:
Dear ADNI experts,
I have searched for some patients with functional MRI data and found that sometimes, there are more than one image set for a patient in the same scan. I do not understand what that means. Does it mean that the patient received repeated rsfMRI scan for some reasons? And, can I say that the latest one image set is the best one to analyze?
Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Huang

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

We have found that some sites repeated the fMRI series for no apparent reason. In these case we selected the initial series, where there was no issue with image quality.
