Question

Question Posted 01/07/14:
Is it possible for me to come at my own cost and get trained in quantitative analysis of PET images using standardized software programmes at a ADNI centre in the USA
Response posted 01/07/14 by Susan Landau:
Unfortunately this is not possible because the PET image processing is carried out by groups in different locations. While some of the analysis software is standardized and available for download (for example, Freesurfer or SPM), some of the pipeline involves in-house software. However, the PET analysis descriptions available on the ADNI website are intended to make it possible for other users to replicate the analysis pipeline. Alternatively, the quantitative data available for download is available for users who do not have the tools available to carry out analyses of the whole-brain PET data.
