Question

Question Posted 02/19/14:
In several patient studies, instead of MPRAGE and MPRAGE GRAPPA2, there are sequences labeled SAG MPRAGE NO ANGLE and SAG MPRAGE GRAPPA2 NO ANGLE. What is the difference between the regular and "no angle" sequences? What does "no angle" specifically refer to?

Thank you.

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core. Those additions made to the series descriptors were inserted by the MRI departments at those sites to remind the scanning technologists not to angle the scan. There is no difference from those sequences as compared to others in the study. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. ADNI MRI Core
