Question

Question Posted 04/19/17:
Dear experts,

Data FAQs explain that the eMCI subjects can be determined by merging the ARM table with the Diagnostic Summary table and identifying those with ARM==10 & DXCHANGE==2. My questions are as follows:
First, since the DSCHANGE==2 represents "Stable: MCI to MCI", what is ARM==10 used for?
In addition, I checked the data dictionary of DATADOCT.csv. It shows the ARM(FLDNAME) in ARM.csv(TABLENAME) only have 9 code values, from 1 to 9. Then, what does ARM==10 represent?
Moreover, what should I do to obtain the subject ID of AD and to obtain that of LMCI?

Thanks very much!

Additional ARM codes 10 and 11 were added for the ADNIGO and ADNI2 phases of the study. These are contained in the data dictionary which you may download from the database or review here: http://adni.loni.usc.edu/data-dictionary-search/?q=Diagnosis%2FScan

Dear expert,
Thanks for your reply! There is one question about the code value of ARM on the website that you sent. In the phase ADNI1, 8=MCI-3T+15T. However, in the phase ADNI2, 8=LMCI. Does that mean MCI equals LMCI? If not, please give me some descriptions.

Best wishes
