| Proposed Analysis: | I am a PhD student in computer science at University of Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. My PhD thesis deals with methods to support the early identification of neurodegenerative diseases using multimodal content-based medical image retrieval. I plan to use ADNI data to create and test neuroimage representation models for pathology-oriented retrieval. Currently, I am working closely with San Ignacio University Hospital, also in Bogotá, Colombia, in the identification of frontotemporal dementia, bipolar affective disorder, Alzheimer disease and mild cognitive impairment, by fusing together structural and functional MRI image data with neuropsychological test information. |
