| Proposed Analysis: | The goal of the proposed research is to use The Virtual Brain platform (thevirtualbrain.org) to investigate how structural connectivity (from diffusion imaging) shapes functional connectivity (from fMRI) in Alzheimer's Dementia. FC will be simulated. The literature has suggested that connectivity patterns are affected in AD. We plan to narrow down on specific neural parameters (ie conduction speed, weight of structural connectivity), that may affect functional activity in AD. |
