ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | I am mostly interested in combining multimodal data for the study of neurological diseases. More specifically, my goal is to extract biomarkers from both genomic (SNP) and brain imaging data (functionnal/structural MRI). If granted the permission, i intend to use adaptation of classical statistical tools (sparse versions of linear regression, canonical correlation analysis, etc.) in order to jointly extract both types of relationships: 1) links between data and clinical/cognitive assessments 2) links across multi-modal data-sets, especially brain regions that may be correlated with gene subsets. I think the ADNI database will provide an extremely interesting environment for me to develop and test new statistical models. |
