| Proposed Analysis: | Our intention is to use the PET/PiB images and cerebrospinal fluid concentrations (CSF) to assess which region (cerebellum, pons or white matter) is the best solution to be used as reference region on the computation of the voxelwise standardized uptake value ratio (SUVR). We are going to do that in two manners: First, based on the correlation of the CSF with SUVR we will see which reference region originates higher correlation between CSF and brain SUVR. Second, we will see if using different reference regions we will have different classifications accuracy in the classification of Alzheimer disease (AD) patients against health controls or patients with other dementias. |
