Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Proposed Analysis: I am currently and Honours student of the University of Sydney. My project is primarily looking into the classification of Psychosis Disorders from MRI data. The dataset of Psychosis patients that is currently being used comes from a variety of scanners and locations. My intention is to use the ADNI dataset to assist in the unsupervised learning of an auto-encoder to improve classification. To summarize, my research is looking to show the use of unsupervised pre-processing MRI data from different studies, as well as the classification of Psychosis disorders.
