Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Lijuan Zheng
Institution: Jingling Hospital, Nanjing University
Department: Medical Imaging
Country:
Proposed Analysis: 1.Different structural and functional alteration patterns in healthy young adults with mutations of APP/Presenilin-1/2 and APOEε4, such as hippocampus functional connectivity; 2.the interact effect of APOE and aging on the healthy carriers; 3. the different effect of depression on the older healthy subjects,MCI and AD; 4.early biomarker of fMRI and dMRI in the carriers with AD-related genes
Additional Investigators
Investigator's Name: Long Jiang Zhang
Proposed Analysis: 1.APOE Polymorphism Affects Brain Default Mode Network in Healthy Young Adults; 2.DMN FC alteration in APP or presenilin-1/2 or APOE ε4 subjects is prior to the occurrence of neurological alterations and clinical symptoms, and DMN FC might be a valuable biomarker to detect genetic risk in the preclinical stage
