Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Gholamreza Anbarjafari
Institution: University of Tartu
Department: iCV Group, Institute of Technology
Proposed Analysis: We have developed a new technique for detecting Alzheimer disease and it has been published in: Beheshti, Iman, Norihide Maikusa, Hiroshi Matsuda, Hasan Demirel, and Gholamreza Anbarjafari. "Histogram-Based Feature Extraction from Individual Gray Matter Similarity-Matrix for Alzheimer’s Disease Classification." Journal of Alzheimer's Disease Preprint (2017): 1-12. Now we would like to test our technique on bigger dataset, like the one prepared by you. We are planning to see the effect of super resolution on the performance of the system as well.
