Proposed Analysis: | We aim at identifying factor influencing advanced brain aging. To do this, we have used the UK Biobank imaging data to construct a predictor of brain age from T1 and T2 structural scans. We would like to apply this score in the AIBL, ADNI and ADNIDOD datasets. The difference between predicted brain age and real age of the participants will be used to quantify advanced brain aging. We will correlate this difference to a range of phenotypes available in all or part of the samples (e.g. physical activity, Alzheimer's status, history of mental health, cognition...). Do to the limited power of such design, we would need the largest sample available, which is why we request access to AIBL, ADNI and ADNIDOD. |
