Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Sabeeha Baqui
Institution: Al-Arqam College Preparatory
Department: Sophomore Personal Project
Proposed Analysis: For my sophomore personal project, I created an Android App for Alzheimer's patients to be able to easily receive a preliminary at-home possible diagnosis and allows them to know which factors of their disease they specifically need to control. This of course is not a substitute for a professional diagnosis from a doctor, but it is the first step in getting out accurate information to Alzheimer's patients and helping them better manage their disease. In order to test how accurately this application is able to diagnose a possible case of Alzheimer's before I release this onto the Android Google Play Store, I would like to request access to patient data to be able to complete this phase of my project. My science fair presentation will be taking place on March 10, 2018, so reception of the data an adequate time before that deadline would be greatly appreciated.I specifically need data for: - MRI scan - Lumbar Puncture Results - MOCA Score - MMSE Score - Fasting Blood Sugar Level - Depression - Vitamin B12 Level - Hopkins Verbal Learning Test Score - Minutes of Excercise Daily
