Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Proposed Analysis: I want to use the ADNI dataset to train a convolutional auto-encoder deep neural network. After this training I will use transfer learning by taking the first few layers of the trained network and adding two fully connected layers at the end. Then I will train this new network on a small dataset of MTBI patients in order to do classification. The reason that I require ADNI and transfer learning is that my MTBI dataset is very small.
