| Proposed Analysis: | Examine cross-sectional and longitudinal cognitive decline using memory (AVLT) and other measures, in relation to CSF biomarkers that are available at baseline and longitudinally. Classify subjects by Elecsys A-beta42, tau and P-tau data. Examine effects of age, sex, education and specific types of CSF biomarkers (inflammatory e.g., sTREM2), Neurodegenerative (e.g., Nfl) and synaptic (e.g., neurogranin, NPTX1 and NPTX2) and combinations of these markers on rats of cognitive decline in controls, MCI and AD. Will use GLM and GEE approaches. Will compare data with data we have generated form an independent cohort studied at UCSD. |
