Proposed Analysis: | The aim of our study is to determine the most optimal diagnostic algorithm for early Alzheimer's disease based on evaluation of structural, functional and molecular brain damage to improve the early diagnostic sensitivity and specificity. This is my PhD project. We are going to identify a radiological brain damage phenotype in patients with mild cognitive impairment who have a risk to progress to clinical dementia syndrome by using MRI, fMRI, perfusion SPECT, FDG PET, Amyloid PET and Tau PET. We want to assess the prognostic value and diagnostic accuracy of combinations of different radiological imaging methods. Also to compare imaging results with clinical cognition parameters. |
