Proposed Analysis: Project 1: A longitudinal study: AD converters in MCI A. Plasma sample collection issue: Conduct a study using 30 ADNI plasma samples to compare MagQu collection protocol with ADNI collection protocol. B. Draw fresh blood samples from 50 controls and 150 MCI subjects per MagQu collection protocol at 2-3 ADNI participating sites at study entry and 36th month. Project 2: The utility of IMR-marker panel in differentiation of neurodegenerative diseases C. Evaluate a full panel of plasma markers (abeta, t-tau, p-tau, alpha syn, p-a-syn,TDP-43, NfL) in subjects with AD, PD, FTD, and war veterans with TBI. Possibly also evaluate new assay kit for pyroglu abeta.
