Proposed Analysis: Dear ADNI research team. I am a PhD student in social & behavioral sciences at the public health school. I'm working on topics related to the relationship between psychosocial factors and biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease. Specifically, I will like to study the effect of education on the risk to develop dementia and the presence of biomarkers (amyloid-B and TAU) in people APOE-e4 carriers compared to non-carriers. To achieve this, first I would like to evaluate the cross-sectional relationship of these variables in healthy older adults and people with mild cognitive impairment, adjusting for confounders (like depression and cardiovascular health) and test structural equation models to elucidate a first model to explain the connection between education and biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease. the ADNI project data is from high-quality and provides a great part of the information that I need for this first project. I will be thankful if you allow me to work with this dataset.
