Proposed Analysis: | We have developed a method to build personalised models of Alzheimer’s disease progression with longitudinal multimodal data. We have used it with the ADNI-1, ADNI-GO, ADNI-2 data set (using previous data access authorisation) by combining imaging (MRI, FDG-PET) and clinical (sets of neuro-psychological assessments) data. Results are in the preprint: https://hal.inria.fr/hal-01964821 and on the web app: www.digital-brain.org As a result, the progression of each ADNI participant is characterised by few parameters that position the progression in a normative spatiotemporal coordinate system. We aim now to perform a genome-wide association study (GWAS) to identify to which extend the genetic variants may explain the observed heterogeneity in progression patterns, and use the genetic information to predict the future progression of a given patient. |
