Proposed Analysis: | We wish to perform analysis on DTI data in order to determine how white matter tracts differ during the progression from healthy older brain to Alzheimer's. In particular, we are interested in the tracts between reward and auditory processing areas, with the intent of applying the knowledge towards current work in our lab testing the efficacy of a music based intervention in mild cognitive impairment. This is meant as follow up work to the recently published Wang et al. 2020 in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, except now using DTI instead of fMRI as our methodology |
