Proposed Analysis: | This PhD focuses on a novel fusion of mathematical modelling and simulation methods, aiming to create a simulation environment to accurately model the network disruption caused by Alzheimer's disease. The fMRI and DTI data of the Alzheimer’s disease patients will be used to model networks of brain activity over the time of study. Furthermore, additional, simulated, data will be added to the model and various graph analyses techniques explored, to determine the most effective combination of model and simulation technique to mimic the network disruption caused by AD. |
