Proposed Analysis: | We aim to improve the detection of preclinical/prodromal AD in subjects with subjective cognitive decline (SCD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) by using feasible and less invasive biomarkers including the combination of five essential plasma biomarkers, including amyloid beta (1-40) (Aβ40), amyloid beta (1-42) (Aβ42), total tau (t-tau), tau phosphorylated at threonine 181 (p-tau181), and neurofilament light chain (NfL), and novel MRI biomarkers (AD-resemblance atrophy index, [AD-RAI], a machine learning-based measure developed by our team). To create an accessible, cost–effective method in the screening and diagnosis of early stage Alzheimer’s disease. |
