Proposed Analysis: | The goal of this research is to test and possibly expand the methods by which machine learning can be used to analyze images of brain scans to screen patients for cognitive disorder related to Alzheimer's. The expected outcome is that image processing through machine learning will be able to be done with relative accuracy and a machine learning program will be able to continually update based on training data sets given. The goal will be to create a new analytical method by which machine learning can be used to analyze MRI images and recognize cognitive disorder. Using machine learning, for instance, neural networks and support vector machines, MRI scans will be more efficiently analyzed. |
