Investigator's Name: | Richard Smith |
Proposed Analysis: | (Richard Smith writes) I propose to use the ADNI datasets and potentially the other AIBL and DOD-ADNI data as part of my PhD research topic of predicting the risk dementia using biomarker data, neuro-psychological tests, imaging, demographic and other data. As a first step I would like to reproduce the findings of one or more important papers that have been published using these datasets, to include methods such as CNNs, Clustering and other Machine Learning techniques. Eventually, I would like to make an original contribution that builds on one of these papers and to include this as a main part of my PhD thesis |
