Proposed Analysis: | We are interested in understand trajectories of cognitive decline and associating those with both baseline and longitudinal biomarkers. A key aim is to understand the role of polygenic risk scores in stratifying progression rates and whether these are prognostic and can be controlled for in RCTs. We also plan on integrating imaging data with other measurements within ADNI and outside such as UK biobank to get an estimate of the population variation in these measures and map to genetic variants. |

Proposed Analysis: | Our aims relate to genetic analyses including genomewide association studies, single variants association tests, and evaluations of polygenic risk scores with disease progression/trajectories. These analyses will be conducted to identify novel loci, to better characterize loci with known associations to disease risk and to develop methods to predict heterogeneity in disease populations. Other biomarker data (CSF/Imaging) will also be tested for correlations to outcomes related to Alzheimer's disease progression and conversion from MCI. |
