| Proposed Analysis: | I have been assigned a Machine Learning project for a course at my master degree in Stochastics and Data Science. The aim of this project is to produce an analysis in one relevant theme using machine learning techniques. Due to the loss of my grandfather a few years ago, I want to try to realize some prediction for Alzheimer's Disease in patients who have still not received a diagnosis. This is because I have been told from the doctors when they first found out about my grandfather, that an early diagnosis could have helped us to slow down the progression of the illness. About the methods that I am going to use: following the approach used in several papers, I want to try some classification techniques, integrating them with some approach from bayesian statistics. The project is probably not going to be published, unless my professor will ask me to. In that case I will warn you about it and respect the procedure that I accepted before. |
