Hello,

How can I find out which resting state fMRI volumes are affected by the "pencil artifact" and which ones are not?

Also, where can I learn more about this artifact?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

The artifact is not assessed by individual volume. It is basically a spatial pattern of decreased temporal SNR, hence it applies to the entire series.
