What packages/software do you recommend to use for Dicom to Nifti conversion of the resting state and MPRAGE data?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

For the MPRAGE, downloading the pre-processed data will get you equivalent gradient distortion across all sites.

For fMRI we recommend: dcm2nii.
