Proposed Analysis: | The aim of my project is to investigate predictors of development of Alzheimer’s Disease, using machine learning techniques. This paper strives to create a predictive model with two stages of prediction: the first stage using easy-access variables (e.g. demographics, biospecimen data and/or genetics) to determine who is at high risk, the second stage using MRI scans (in the high-risk group) to further improve prediction. Conditional research question: Can we predict development of Alzheimer’s Disease with a predictive model generated using machine learning techniques? |
