| Proposed Analysis: | I am a current PhD student under my advisor Ravinder Reddy. I am currently working on metabolic alterations and structural biomarkers of AD pathology. Specifically, I am working on developing sequences for improved myelin detection. I have recently started working on deep learning methodologies and I am very interested in anomaly detection. To my understanding, DWI has been used for observing physiological changes in Alzheimer's disease, especially in white matter tracts. I would like to train a neural network for anomaly detection in white matter tracts of mild to severe AD using DWI (and potentially other contrasts) as this contrast shows sensitivity to myelination in the brain. |
