Hello,
I wish to use the MMSE.csv file to get the MMSE sub-scores. I am looking for the following components:

Category Maximum Possible points
Orientation to time 5
Orientation to place 5
Registration 3
Attention and calculation 5
Recall 3
Language 2
Repetition 1
Complex commands 6

Can some one please help me derive (R code) the MMSE subscores from the various columns in the MMSE file. I can only find MMSCORE which is the MMSE total score

The ADNI clinical core is not funded to provide this kind of service. Using the item level data you should be able to derive sub-scores. The data dictionary includes the question text so you may group as needed.
