Question
Question Posted 06/19/19:
Hello,
During the ADNI steering committee meeting it was mentioned that the ADNI-2 genetic imputation data would be made available around mid-2019. Is this data currently available or is there an estimated date as to when it will be? Also, is there documentation available for how the imputation was carried out? We are interested in looking at SNPs in particular genes such as DRD2, COMT etc. and were wondering if the imputation was conducted at a genome-wide level, or if it would be necessary to extract the SNPs in our candidate genes that were directly genotyped and identify the imputed SNPs afterwards (i.e. uploading the data to an imputation server).
Thank you.

The latter approach is likely to be necessary for specific candidate SNPs and the Genetics Core will provide assistance with this, as discussed with your mentor.
