Dear ADNI experts,
I have searched for patients with fMRI data and found that sometimes there are more than one image set for one patient in one scan. I do not understand what that means. Does it mean that the patient received repeated fMRI scan for some reasons? And, can I say the latest image set is the best one to analyze?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core. We have found that some sites repeated the fMRI series for no apparent reason. In these case we selected the initial series, where there was no issue with image quality.
