Question
Question Posted 01/08/14:
I wish to find all subjects with a medical history of depression; in MEDHIST.csv file there is a column entitled MHPSYCH. Does 1 correspond to, anxiety, depression, both? Is using the the BXSYMP column in PECBLOOG.csv a better approach?
Thank you kindly.
Best wishes,
Antoine

MHPSYCH field in the Medical History table is a general item identifying whether there is any psychiatric issue in the participant’s medical history at screening. 1=Yes;0=No. The medical history details table will specify the psychiatric issue. However, there is not a categorical item for depression or anxiety. There are no tables that I am aware of called PECBLOOG. Please review and resubmit your question.
