Question

Question Posted 01/28/14:
With the use of the data dictionary, inventory and excel files, it appears that no measure of all languages spoken was ever taken. It is possible to work out which patients definitely speak more than one language, by looking at discrepancies in participant primary language and testing language, but not possible to work out which participants are definitely monolingual. Are you able to confirm that for me? Thanks.
Response posted 01/28/14 by Melissa Davis:
You are correct. The only information about the participants' language is about primary language and testing language, both captured in Participant Demographics. There is no database capture to indicate number of languages spoken or fluency levels.
