May I know how is DX_BL decided? I understand that there are plenty of factors based on which the stage of Alzheimer is decided. I wanted to know if there's any list of specific parameter/model used to decide the stage of the patient

DX_BL in the ADNIMERGE file refers to the diagnosis at the screening visit. You should refer to the ADNI protocols (available on the Documents page of the ADNI website) to see the criteria for the different diagnoses at the screening visit.
