Question Posted 01/10/24:
Hi ADNI experts, I'm interested in SNP rs2230288, which is a common SNP for some neurodegenerative disorders. The allele info is available in ADNI3 but not in ADNI1 and ADNI2/GO.
It seems that SNP rs2230288 is not included in the earlier ADNI genetic analyses. Just hope to confirm if there is any chance I can get the SNP info from ADNI1 and ADNI2/GO?
Many thanks, Jimmy ~

In ADNI, GWAS genotyping data have been generated using several different genotyping platforms, which usually genotype different target SNPs. Thus, rs2230288 may be not available in ADNI1 and ADNIGO2.
The imputation of the ungenotyped SNP would be highly recommended for your project.
