Dear expert,
I would like to thank you for providing the database, i am currently working on a research for detecting the signs of AD using MRI scan and cognitive test result. I have a few questions about the MRI scan because my basic is not biomedical (my basic is CS)
1. I am planning to use MP-RAGE for my data. In the image viewer i can see the specific slices and plane. I only want to download specific slice and certain angle for example i want to download this data
MP-RAGE
Acquisition Plane=SAGITTAL;Field Strength=1.5;Weighting=T1;Slice Thickness=1.2;Matrix Z=166.0;Acquisition Type=3D. Only for slice 120 and from coronal like in the image viewer. Is there a way i can do this?
2. I noticed that the diagnostic result in the cognitive test result doesn't aligned with the research group the MRI scans are in for the same subject and phases. For example patient A from ADNI 1 Month 6 in cognitive result have AD diagnose but from the MRI research group they are in the MCI category, for labeling the diagnose which one should i use? (I intend to use the cognitive test diagnose but do want to know the expert perspective)

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.
I do not believe that type of download is possible as I believe that datasets must be downloaded fully on a series by series basis.
That being said, I would recommend that you contact LONI directly to inquire with them to see if this might be possible. data.coordinator@loni.usc.edu
