Question
Question Posted 08/26/24:
Hi,
My understanding is that if a ADNI participant has amyloid PET AV45 data available, it should have a MRI scan available (don't have to be concurrently). However, we cannot seem to find Axial T2 FLAIR and Axial T2 star for some of the participants with amyloid PET data. Can you please help explain why?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI core.
It depends on which phase of ADNI you are looking for data for.
For ADNI1, no FLAIR or T2 Star were acquired.
For ADNI3, only 3D FLAIR were acquired, but most participants should have T2 Star.
For ADNI4, only 3D FLAIR and most systems have moved to multiple echo GRE sequences.
Can you please provide an example Subject ID and scan date you are referencing and we can look through the database to investigate further.
Thank you ADNI MRI
