In my R dataset, there is a column named VISCODE, which has values in the format (m0, m6, m12, etc.), even for data related to ADNI2. Does this column represent VISCODE2? How can I verify this, as it is crucial for accurately merging the data

If you are using the ADNIMERGE dataset, then yes, VISCODE is the same as VISCODE2 in other datasets. You should note that ADNIMERGE VISCODE=bl combines information from the screening visit and the baseline visit.
