Question Posted 05/04/25:
Dear ADNI Team,
I noticed that your documentation states the data collected from subjects is de-identified. Could you please clarify if this means the data is fully anonymized? I ask because if it is fully anonymized, it would not fall under the scope of GDPR law in the EU. Thank you for your assistance.

The PET data, and I presume MR as well, are not fully de-identified.
All the scan dates and times are maintained. The subject name is replace with the site and study ID for the subject. Also, while the the birth date is removed, the year is maintain to be able to determine subject age. Someone from LONI would need to provide a more complete answer that this.
