Question
Question Posted 05/19/25:
My name is Kassymzhomart Kunanbayev, and I am a PhD student at KAIST working on Alzheimer's disease analysis. My research focuses on enhancing diagnostic capabilities through multi-modal data integration using machine learning and deep learning methods, particularly in data-efficient settings.
I have access to the ADNI database via the LONI Image and Data Archive (IDA). However, I have been unable to locate the MRI radiology reports or clinical read findings corresponding to the ADNI1/2 screening and baseline images. According to the ADNI General Procedures Manual for ADNI1 (available at https://adni.loni.usc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/ADNI_GeneralProceduresManual.pdf), these reports are generated and reviewed as part of the screening process.
Could you please advise whether these radiology reports are available for research purposes? If so, I would appreciate guidance on how to access them through the IDA or any other appropriate channel.
Thank you

Hi Kassymzhomart,
Various imaging-related metrics are available on the IDA; using the top bar, navigate to Search and Download -> Study files, then on the left sidebar the 'MR Image Analysis' and 'PET image analysis' sections will have the bulk of that information.
The radiology reports themselves are not available, however significant findings are summarised and organized into tables available in those sections. If there are any specific metrics that you're interested, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
