Question

Question Posted 04/21/26:
Hello ADNI Expert Team,

I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate your guidance:

1. I noticed that fasting glucose and HbA1c are collected in some ADNI phases. However, when I search for blood glucose in the ARC Builder, I find multiple measures across different tables (e.g., PET imaging acquisition [pre-FDG] and biospecimen labs). Could you please advise which blood glucose measure is most appropriate to use?
2. I am also looking for hypertension status and antihypertensive medication use in newly enrolled participants in the ADNI3 phase. I found relevant information in the MEDHIST and RECMHIST tables, but these appear to be limited to ADNI1 and ADNI2. Is there a table that contain more recent medication records and hypertension status for ADNI3 participants?
3. Additionally, I noticed that the DXSUM table previously included columns identifying conversion to dementia. It seems that these columns are no longer present. Am I correct in assuming that the current approach is to determine conversion (e.g., from CN or MCI to dementia) by tracking changes in the DIAGNOSIS column across time points?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
