Question
Question Posted 05/15/26:
Can someone investigate whether Image UIDs 11158400 and 11570002 (4_sc and 4_m12 visits) relate to the same subject? They are listed as the same on LONI but brain and head shape don't appear to match (these are T1 IDs, but also applies for 3D FLAIR from these visits.)

Thank you for contacting the MRI Core.
After investigation, our team can confirm that he baseline scan is incorrect and is scheduled to be removed from LONI. The correct baseline scan will be made available shortly. We apologize for this confusion.

Thank you for reaching out to the MRI core concerning your finding on unmatched serial images. After confirming with our QC team this was caught during our initial QC of the data in March and the exam had been failed in our system so I believe this should have not be released from quarantine. Are you an advanced user who would have access to images that had not be released by chance, or were you able to find this data with standard permissions? I think you can reply to this comment within this format, but could you also please reply to ADNIMRI@mayo.edu with your response. We would like to determine if our quarantine release processed failed or if there is something else we should be investigating.
Also, just to confirm this incorrect data upload was deleted from LONI.
Thank you
ADNI MRI

After reviewing the comments from our QC team, we believe that the data may have been released inadvertently for a short period of time as the site uploaded the same baseline data under two different IDs, which allowed for the correlation of an old exam which was realized until a 2nd incorrect upload under a different ID occurred. Thank you again for notifying the ADNI MRI core of your finding.
