Question

Question Posted 10/15/14:
I have downloaded T1,T2 and DTI images in NIfTI images from the ADNI website. As I go through the processing pipeline, I noticed that I need files for the b-values of each image. I cannot seem to find these files for download. Is this because I need to download the files as DICOM from the ADNI website and then use an external program to convert them to NIfTI afterwards?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

Yes, our recommendation would be to download the images in the raw DICOM format they were uploaded in. Then convert them to NIFTI using an external program. This way you will always have the raw DICOM as your gold standard image and can start/re-check all conversions from there.
