Question

Question Posted 05/04/15:
Dear Sir or Madam,

I have two questions about the adni fMRI data.

1. After I downloaded all the imaging data as NIFI format, there was an error with header information when I preprcocessed the data. But there is no problem with data preprocessing when I used the data downloaded by 'as archived'. I wonder if there is something wrong in online NIFI downloading?

2. When I do data analysis, I need to know the slice order in each volume in the resting data. For example, if there were 48 slices in one volume, the scanning order was' 1,2,3,...,48', or '1,3,5,...,47, 2,4,6,...,48'?

Look forward to your reply.

Many thanks~

Best,

Ping

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

We recommend that all users download the data "as archived" and then create their own nifti files locally, as it is unclear to us what conversion is taking place when using the downloader and selecting to have the images converted for you. If you would like further information on the LONI downloader please direct your question directly to them at: adni@loni.usc.edu

The slice order is captured in our QC report available here:
https://ida.loni.usc.edu/pages/access/studyData.jsp?categoryId=14

Under the file named:
Mayo (Jack Lab) - Default Mode Network Connectivity [ADNIGO,2]
