Question

Question Posted 12/15/15:
We are interested in using the lessons learned from ADNI to do a multicenter hip MRI study, also using multiple MRI vendors. Is it possible to purchase the ADNI phantom? Will the A-Qual software for the phantom perform the linear and non-linear gradient corrections for our human in vivo images or do we have to develop our own methods? Thanks so much.

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

Yes, ADNI phantoms can be purchased through the manufacturer. http://www.phantomlab.com/

The Aqaul software will provide analysis of the scanner in relation to Gradient performance however it will not provide any corrections to apply to images, those must be developed by the users.

Thanks
