Hi, I was wondering how to identify subjects that have converted to Alzheimer's disease. There is a diagnostic summary excel sheet but it is incomplete. There are quite a few subjects with no mention of their conversion. However, if you go through the longitudinal MMSE scores, you can see an appreciable decline. In their detailed notes, their conversion to AD is mentioned. Is there no file that tells you exactly the subjects that converted without having to read the patient's notes?
2) For the CSF_MRM file, there are two or more values (specifying different sequences) for some proteins. Is it possible to average the different values to get 1 protein value for let's say APOE? Or should we just use one of the sequence values?

The diagnostic summary file is the correct file to use. For ADNI-1 participants (RID<2000), you will need to use a combination of DXCURREN, DXCONV, and DXCONTYP to figure out diagnostic changes. Starting in ADNIGO, all diagnosis information is captured in the variable DXCHANGE. You can refer to the data dictionary for the coding information.
I am not familiar with the CSF_MRM file, so I can't help with that question. If you are looking for APOE status, you can refer to the ApoE results file.
