Dear,

I'm doing some processing with MPRAGE and rs-fMRI modality images, however, I get a little confused with how to find slice scan order information in these iamges, the only thing I know is "Philips, 1.5T or 3T, default scan order", I tried to get slice scan order information from dicom files, but it failed, could you please help me with what exactly the default order mean?

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

As per protocol sites are instructed to the scan the subjects inferior to superior at every scanning session. The current acquisition is acquired in an interleaved fashion. (Example 1,3,5,7 - 2,4,6,8) The latest batch of analysis site fMRI QC and processed data submissions are now including the acquisition order within the documentation, which should be available to you now.
