Question

Question Posted 03/21/18:
Dear,

In the last communication, thank you so much for telling me the scan order for MRI images, which is in an interleaved fashion.
I am using AFNI for processing, i just get confused with one of the two options for slice timing correction after ruling out other options.
Does interleaved fashion refers to 'altplus' or 'alt+z2'?
Here are the options from AFNI:

S L I C E N U M B E R
tpattern 0 1 2 3 4 Comment
--------- --- --- --- --- --- -------------------------------
altplus 0 600 200 800 400 Alternating in the +z direction
alt+z2 400 0 600 200 800 Alternating, but starting at #1
altminus 400 800 200 600 0 Alternating in the -z direction
alt-z2 800 200 600 0 400 Alternating, starting at #nz-2
seqplus 0 200 400 600 800 Sequential in the +z direction
seqminus 800 600 400 200 0 Sequential in the -z direction

Thank you so much for your precious time and I'm looking forward to your reply!
Peng

Is this ADNI-2 or ADNI-3 data? If ADNI-3 is it "advanced" with SMS acceleration, or "basic"?
